Do we need to be a registered/incorporated NFP or charity to fundraise through Do Gooder?

Written by David Gravina

Yes.

This is because Do Gooder uses Paypal services to facilitate fundraising activity.

If you fundraise through PayPal without a registered charity or Not for Profit status then you face the risk of Paypal freezing your account until you prove that you are one of these entities.

So we don't recommend fundraising through Do Gooder unless you have registered charity or Not for Profit status.
